Weekly Crown League

The Weekly Crown Leaguewas a weekly contest that recognised the top ten players who earned the most Crowns during that week. The winners were featured in posts on the @FallGuysGame Twitter account, and received the Sorcerer Costume. The contest was introduced on 5 February 2021, and the winners for each week were announced on each Monday for two months.

On 7 April 2021, the Weekly Crown League was discontinued, due to "behaviour and gameplay that goes against the spirit of the game". Each week, the contest was highly competitive due to the rarity of an exclusive costume, and so the implied "behaviour and gameplay" had included match fixing with friends in Solos, unhealthy gaming habits (e.g. sacrificing essential sleep to play the game further) and general toxic behaviour in the form of repetitively grabbing players who previously achieved in the Weekly Crown League. This likely explains the unnaturally large Crown counts that some players achieved each week, as seen in the Gallery section below.

To compensate for the weekly contest's discontinuation, the Sorcerer Costume was later given to the top 100 players with the most wins between 31 March 2021 and 7 April 2021.

Trivia

• Due to how analytics were tracked, draws (e.g. timeouts), while counting towards the Crown Rank, did not count towards the Crown League.
• It was possible for players to be in the top ten in successive weeks; however, beyond the prize for the first instance, no future prizes were awarded.
• It is currently uncertain if wins in Squads counted towards the Weekly Crown League for Weeks 8 and 9, though it seems unlikely due to the specific Crown counts that the top then players achieved during these weeks.
