Vaulting

Vaulting was a process in Fall Guys used to limit the available Levels in the Core Games (Solos, Duos, and Squads). It was introduced during Season 2 and ended as of the Fall Forever Update with the introduction of Knockout Refreshes and “Classic Games” consisting of the full levelpool of currently functional Unity levels. Vaulting sort of came back in the July '24 Update, because the Vault show got reintroduced into Customs, which contains certain levels that aren't present in the current rotation.

As of the current game version (21.1.1), 0 out of the 1 of the Vaulted levels (excluding INVISIBEANS levels) can be played in The Vault in Custom Games.

Additional Information

Prior to vaulting, levels in Fall Guys could get temporarily removed if issues were found, and could be made available again at a later date. Vaulting started in Season 2, where the Core Games were replaced by Satellite Scramble Shows, where only levels that had a seasonal variant were present. Meanwhile the ones that did not receive a seasonal variant remained absent from said Core Games, but were still available outside of those games, where the other non-seasonal variants were also present.

On 15 November 2022, Fall Guys has announced that vaulting will become part of the game "for the foreseeable future". The vaulting concept, which was different in Season 2, was completely changed from Season 3 onward, where vaulting became official and has been expanded to include Limited-Time Games as well as Custom Games. Fall Guys would then announce the levelpool for the entire season on Twitter.

However, on 19 January 2023, Cloudflare (a server hosting network) had a server outage, causing all levels in the game to become available to be selected in any game. This lasted for about 30 minutes before Cloudflare's servers went back online.

On 7 March 2023, The Vault was introduced in Custom Games, where players could play the then available levels, along with the vaulted ones.

From the Summer Breeze Update until the Tool Up Update, there were more unvaulted levels. However, this didn't last very long, as some levels were getting vaulted again, such as the Creative levels that were present in Solos from the start of Season 4 until the Tool Up Update.

As of the Fall Forever Update, the vaulting concept has been temporarily discontinued, in favor of Knockout replacing Solos and having its levelpool periodically refreshed, while explicitly stating that "Knockout refreshes are not going to be a repeat of vaulting". This is further supported by the fact that the Vault is no longer present in Custom Games as of the same update.

On 29 May 2024, Fall Guys had introduced Classic Games: games that only contain Mediatonic-made levels, much like Solos prior to Season 4. This also saw the return of Solos, as well as Squads and Duos being changed to use the Classic levelpool rather than the Knockout roundpool. Fall Guys also announced that they "plan to begin bringing back some of our much loved Classic levels starting in late summer".

On 23 July 2024, The Vault was made available again in Custom Games, hence Vaulting got sort of reintroduced along side Knockout refreshes being present.

On 29 July 2025, with the release of the Tropical Tides Update, a handful of Variations were unvaulted, these won't be noted on this page however. More variations were also unvaulted in the Slime Factory Update, check these update's pages for the unvaulted variations.

On 11 November 2025, the Level Vault (except Bean Hill Zone) was emptied, certain variations are still vaulted.

Vaulting Status

This table is loosely based on the History section of every level’s page. Blank means the level was available that season. Check the level’s page for more details.

While vaulting started in Season 2, it has been observed that there were many level changes during Season 1 and little changes in the Legacy seasons, so they will be included.

Although Vaulting got replaced by Knockout refreshes in the Fall Forever Update, certain levels did get removed or temporarily disabled, so they weren't present during this update.

Season 3

Season 3 marks the first time since the introduction of vaulting that no levels were added or removed from the vault during the entire season.

Starting with Season 3, if a level was vaulted, it would also get removed from any Limited-Time Games. Vaulted levels were completely unplayable until 7 March 2023, when The Vault was added to Custom Games.

Trivia

• There are currently only POINTS and INVISIBEANS levels vaulted.
• Season 1 is the only season to still have Core levels vaulted.
• The following levels have never been vaulted or temporarily removed at all: Jump Club, The Whirlygig and Kraken Slam.
  • However, in the first Knockout rotation, Kraken Slam was initially only available as a Survival variant, with the original Final versions being unavailable.
  • The Whirlygig and Kraken Slam are the only ones to never have been vaulted from any of the core shows, as Jump Club and Blast Ball were vaulted from Squads and Duos during Season 2, but still available in Solos.
  • If you don't count the first and second Knockout rotations or the Sound Of The Future event (where the Classic modes were missing or altered), then these levels haven't been vaulted or temporarily removed either: Blast Ball, Dizzy Heights, Door Dash, Fall Ball, Hit Parade, Jinxed, Stompin' Ground, The Swiveller, Treetop Tumble, Hex-A-Terrestrial, Pixel Painters, Blastlantis and Speed Slider.
  • All other levels have been or are still vaulted or temporarily removed.
  • This also means that Season 2 (Legacy), Season 3 (Legacy), Season 4 (Legacy) and Season 6 (Legacy) have had all their levels removed/vaulted at least once.
    • Season 5 (Legacy) and Season 2 are also included, if you count the first and second Knockout Rotation or the Sound of the Future Event as legitimate vaultings.
• Most of Season 4 (Legacy)'s levels were vaulted during Season 3 and Season 4, while most of Season 2's levels were vaulted during Season 4.
  • This makes Season 4 the only season that vaulted the biggest amount of levels of another season.
• Sweet Thieves has only been unvaulted from Custom Shows, similarly to The Vault show, but the limited-time mode is still vaulted and hasn't returned since Season 3.
  • It along with Treat Thieves have been removed from Custom Games as of the Fall Forever Update and are now not available anywhere.
• The Shapes and Stickers Update is currently the only update not to vault or unvault any level, unless Jinxed's Final variant counts.
• Space Race is the level that stayed unvaulted for the shortest amount of time. It got vaulted only 23 days after its introduction and hasn't returned ever since.
  • Along with Cosmic Highway, both are also the levels that have been completely vaulted from the game (including The Vault show) for the longest amount of time, being last playable on 9 March 2023 in The Vault show, before being removed from the levelpool.
  • Space Race finally returned on 1 August 2024.
• Besides vaulted levels, there are also a lot of variations which are currently vaulted from the game. Unlike vaulted rounds, these variations are not featured in The Vault show and cannot be played at all. The vaulted variations include:
  • Standard version of Wall Guys.
  • The bumper version used during Season 3 on Blastlantis.
  • The original Squad-version of Tip Toe Finale.
  • All Aloy's Blaze Canister Mayhem-exclusive variations.
  • Some other miscellaneous variations like the vertical see saws in See Saw, hammers at the end of Fall Mountain right before the crown, the slingus flingus variation in Wall Guys, the high-gravity zone in Skyline Stumble, fruit cannons in Big Shots, upwards fans in Hoopsie Daisy etc.
    • These variations have been returning ever since the Tropical Tides Update. So, these may return in the future as well.
