Time Attack is a new way to play (specific) classic Fall Guys levels by speeding through them in order to get the best times. For 5 (or 3) minutes, players will attempt to qualify from the round as fast as possible. The top fastest players (top 15%) win 20 crown shards.

Only a player's best run from the round is recorded; slower runs will not override it, so players are encouraged to try as many times as they can to shave precious seconds off their timing.

At regular intervals along the run, there will be checkpoints that show you whether you are on pace to beat your best time. The time difference for each split is displayed; in green if you are faster than your best, and in red if you are slower than your best.

Other players are present. But players are unable to grab each other and their bodies are intangible. Piggybacking is also disabled in Time Attack.

Special Fall Feed

A Fall Feed-style leaderboard, similar to squad modes, is present, and shows where your timing is relative to other players. A leaderboard is also displayed once you complete a run attempt.

There is a new dedicated keybind which resets your run - check the configuration for this keybind in the options menu and rebind it if necessary.

Tips[]

The timer before crossing the Start Line

The timer before crossing the Start Line

  • If a certain direction is faster (e.g. going by the left side at the start of Track Attack), note that the timer only starts once you've run past a certain point. This means you can restart and run sideways in that direction (if necessary) before starting your run.
  • The restart button is your best friend, especially if you know you've flubbed a run; with how tight things can get, it is more preferred to restart once you know you're unable to surpass your time.
    • Be weary though, as using the restart button while respawing may make the button dissapear, meaning you have to reach the next or previous checkpoint to restart.

Schedule[]

Main article: Show Selector

At the start of Season 3, on 22 November 2022, Time Attack Shuffle commenced, and is playable for most of the week, until Friday. Starting then, and running throughout the weekend, there was a Time Trial playlist focused on only one of the rounds in Time Attack Shuffle.

Eventually, Time Attack concluded on 12 December 2022 with no indication given as to its return. The various playlists however can still be played in Custom Show.[1]

Time Attack Shuffle eventually returned one week into the Winter Update with new levels in the roundpool, but without any Timer Bubbles and only one winner. Winners were expanded to the top 15% one day later.

Old Mechanics & Tips[]

Old Mechanics[]

  • The fastest players (top 25%) win 20 crown shards.
  • There are collectibles present in these rounds, which, when picked up, effectively lower your time (by stopping it for the duration specified). Collectibles are semi-randomised at the start of each round and remain in these positions for the entirety of the round. There are three types of collectibles: bronze stopwatches, which freeze the timer for 1 second; silver stopwatches, which freeze the timer for 3 seconds; and gold stopwatches, which freeze the timer for 5 seconds.
  • Other players are present; their bodies may or may not hinder your run.

Old Tips[]

  • Remember that, due to the collectibles, the timings will be lower than the actual time taken to complete the round. Keep this in mind so you know when you have no more time to squeeze in another attempt.
  • You cannot just use the outright fastest paths to speed through a round - you'll have to observe the locations of collectibles that can lower your time, and then devise a route that incorporates picking up some of these collectibles while going as fast as you can, in order to find the best combination that results in low timings.
