Should we create categories?[]
Just "tiles" is a rather broad term for something that comes with many, many variations. With the introduction of Season 2's own hexagonal tiles (the ones that respawn), along with the older rounds getting a variation with those hexagonal tiles, if we include all of it in this page, it will quickly become messy. I would like to suggest that we categorize these tiles. We can make-up the names I guess, as long as it makes sense. Here's a proposal:
- Hexagonal Tiles: The tiles that disappear after being stepped on by the player. Found in rounds Hex-A-Gone, Hex-A-Ring, and Hex-A-Terrestrial.
- Space Hexagonal Tiles: Similar to the hexagonal tiles above, but they eventually respawn after a set period of time. Found in rounds Basketfall, Big Fans, Bubble Trouble, Fruit Chute, Full Tilt, Hex-A-Terrestrial, Hoopsie Daisy, Hoverboard Heroes, Hyperdrive Heroes, Jump Club, Party Promenade, Pipe Dream, Space Race, Stompin' Ground, Tail Tag, and Tundra Run.
- Picture Tiles: The tiles that display a picture, commonly a fruit (in Season 2's case, a space-themed object), used in Logic rounds. Found in rounds Perfect Match and Sum Fruit.
- Light-Up Tiles: The tiles that lighten up when stepped on by a player, though it varies based on the round. Found in Pixel Painters and Power Trip. (this one is debatable)
- Icy Tiles: Similar to the hexagonal tiles above, but they have three states before finally breaking, and they are slippery. Found in rounds Ski Fall and Thin Ice.
- Fake and Real Tiles: Fake tiles disappear when stepped on by a player, which causes them to fumble and fall through. Real tiles light up and are solid when stepped on by a player. Found in rounds Tip Toe and Tip Toe Finale.
- Other tiles:
- Kraken Slam contains a patterned tile that comes in three states when stepped on before sinking.
- Snowball Survival contains a solid hexagonal tile that doesn't disappear when stepped on. They are teal-colored (previously pink).
- Snowy Scrap contains a snowy hexagonal tile, which gives a point upon making contact with a ball.

I went ahead and categorized the page as discussed here. No idea who removed my signature above, but I was the one who initially wrote the suggestion above, in case anyone's wondering. Hinalyte (talk) 07:40, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
Split page[]
Some of the obstacles on this page are different and are similar only in the sense that they are sometimes called tiles. Should we split this page into different ones (e.g. Logic Tiles, Snowy Scrap tiles, Tip Toe tiles, etc.)? TomAndTheCats (talk) 18:31, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
