Blacklisted Celebrations[]

Is there any proof of certain celebrations not playing? I'm pretty sure the player who does the celebration at the end is random. I've personally seen the Plinth Catch Celebration in Squads, so I'm not sure the claim that the Super Guy Celebration is blacklisted holds much merit. Bluswimmer (talk) 21:33, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

I'll attempt to keep spading for as long as I feel like I want to play the mode (the teammates I've been getting aren't great...). I'm a bit bummed that I was literally the one to hard carry my squad to a win, but one of my teammate's celebrations played instead, lol. Let me know if you can find any other counter-examples! Alright, I finally got my own win celebration to play in Squad Mode. That's me appeased and ready to right the wrong of perpetuating the 'blacklisted' myth :P K3W3L (talk) 12:44, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Selected Celebration[]

Okay, let's get back to this topic for a bit; I've just had an epiphany.

For Finals that are about survival (Hex, JS, etc), it appears that the winning celebration played could be the player that gets eliminated first. This is, I'm guessing, because their time alive is converted into time to qualify, and as it is the shortest, they are considered 'first' within the group.

Thoughts? Counter-examples? Not dealing with race finals/team finals/Royal Fumble here, just something I only just realised about this type. K3W3L (talk) 16:46, 20 July 2021 (UTC)

Hm, interesting idea. I'll try to keep this in mind when I play Duos with a friend later, will report back with any significant findings. Bluswimmer (talk) 16:55, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
I've been leafing through a streamer's VOD where they played nothing but squads with randoms on one stream. Haven't found any counter-example thus far, but just to add on. For race finals, I believe the player that grabbed the crown gets it, as is standard. For team games, I've checked a few rounds with squads consisting of the same 4 members, and it's not consistently the same player that gets it (ruling out a player always getting it due to low ping). Still trying to find an example for Royal Fumble that's not the glitched version where the team without the tail somehow appears to win for some reason. K3W3L (talk) 01:39, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
I actually got Royal Fumble last night in Duos. I believe whoever has the tail gets their victory animation played. Bluswimmer (talk) 11:51, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
Alright, we'll roll with that; I've pushed the change live. K3W3L (talk) 04:31, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
