"Bollards"[]

So uh... are we calling these Bollards now, to match with the show? Gonna take quite a bit of "hunting" to find all the mentions to "donut"/"doughnut", if it's the case. :p Rpvarela (talk) 15:27, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
In that case we would also have to rename Spinning Plate to Spin Cycle.
What do you think about not renaming them and instead adding a new field like "Alternative names" to the infobox (and a column to the overview page) where we could list multiple alternative names
Example Bumper (donut)
- Name: Bumper (donut)
- Alternative names: Donut, Pillar and Bollard
Example Spinning Plate
- Name: Spinning Plate
- Alternative names: Turntable and Spin Cycle

Sounds like a better solution to me! :) Rpvarela (talk) 15:02, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
I added the "Alternative names" field (parameter "alt_names" in the infobox). In the same step I rewrote the infobox as lua module, storing its data in cargo and created a new row template.
The obstacle pages and the overview page are now in sync. The data now only needs to be changed in the infoboxes. Adding a new obstacle only requires adding the obstacle infobox.
(It might takes some time for the overview page to refresh. You can speed it up by purging the cache or editing and saving the page without making any change.)

Legitimacy of Specialty Bumpers section[]

I'm doing a rewrite of this page, and I'm thinking of getting rid of the Specialty Bumpers section. None of the things in that section share properties with Bumpers.

In my opinion, Spike should redirect to Log (as the former is only seen once, with the latter), and asteroids should get their own page since they're in a celebration. TomAndTheCats (talk) 00:30, 31 May 2025 (UTC)
