“ | Take a leap of faith and walk the invisible paths to the end of the race! In Starchart, you have to bump the buttons to reveal the way—but can you read the signals in the stars? | „ |
~ Official blogpost (12 September 2022) |
Starchart is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a COURSE level and was first introduced in Season 2. It was first revealed in a blog on 12 September 2022.[1]
Course description[]
This map features a series of octagonal platforms with buttons. Players must traverse invisible pathways that connect the platforms to reach the goal. Hints are provided by the map screen suspended behind the finish line.
The map screen displays lights that correspond to the platforms, matching their colors. When a button is activated by a player, the map screen reveals the location of some invisible paths, represented by a yellow line connecting two lights. The location of revealed paths is not necessarily relevant to the platform on which the button was pushed. Each button reveals its own set of 1-3 paths, showing the same lines if the button is reactivated. The light representing a platform also activates whenever you reach it, so you can better keep track of your location.
Many of the platforms, particularly in the rows with five of them, have an orbiting asteroid. They are obstacles that can potentially knock players off invisible paths as they attempt to traverse them. The row of five yellow platforms serve as the only checkpoint in this map.
Alternate version[]
As of ?/?/??, a variant was added to that and only appears in Solos Chill (TBD):
- All orbiting asteroid are removed from the course.
Course changes[]
As of the Fall and Fantasy Update:
- The Start and Finish Line have been increased in size.
- The stations are now farther apart.
Course strategy[]
Observe the map screen and try to memorize a good portion of it as you navigate the course. Keep in mind that the path may not necessarily go forwards; occasionally, you'll need to head backwards in order to find another path.
Watch out for the orbiting asteroids; these can easily knock you off the course if you are not careful. Observe the asteroid patterns and time crossing the platforms carefully to avoid falling off.
If a path connecting a platform on the left or right of you to the one in front of you exists, it is possible to jump and dive onto this path. Additionally, if you are on the center platform in front of the finish line, it is possible, though very difficult, to jump and dive to the finish, even if there is no invisible path available.
Medal thresholds[]
- Gold - First place
- Silver - Top 20% of players in the lobby
- Bronze - Top 50% of players in the lobby
- Pink - Qualified, but outside of the top 50%
- No medal - Eliminated
