Slingus Flinguses are obstacles in Fall Guys. They were first introduced in Season 3 (Legacy), under the name Flipper until 27 January 2021, when the Instagram Fall Guys community named them. The name was then officially announced on Twitter.[1]
Obstacle description[]
Slingus Flinguses are squared panels which, when the players get on them, flip them in a certain direction, revealing their bellows-like interior. Sometimes they are needed to complete a level, and other times they are hazardous obstacles.
In levels of the Original and Medieval themes, Slingus Flinguses are coloured orange-red; in Winter levels, teal-green; in Future levels, pink with a dark purple border; in Jungle levels, light blue; in Festival, pink and yellow; and in Season 4, black and white with a pink border. There are no Slingus Flinguses in Blunderdome- or Space-themed levels, so it is unknown how they would look like; however, Slingus Flinguses are available in Fortnite x Fall Guys.
In Season 3, static Slingus Flinguses known as Broken Flippers[2] were introduced, coloured yellow and blue with a hazard sign and a red border. They do not move when stepped on by players, and often appear as already activated.
Some Slingus Flinguses will flip players to the same direction every time, and others will flip players to a random direction (directions may be 2, 3 or 4).
Airtime[]
If players fall off the Scoring Zone in Airtime, there will be some upwards-facing Slingus Flinguses that can help players get back up.

Blastlantis[]
Five Broken Flippers are found throughout Blastlantis, likely to fit with the Gauntlet theming.

Dizzy Heights[]
Starting from the 2 February 2021 Season 3 (Legacy) mid-season update, some Slingus Flinguses may appear in the second section of Dizzy Heights. [3] They flip in random directions, but never backward. There are 2 possible orientations these can be in. These slinguses are red and blue coloured.

Fall Ball[]
Starting from the 2 February 2021 Season 3 (Legacy) mid-season update, some red Slingus Flinguses appear in front of the goals in an alternate version of Fall Ball.[4] These can flip players toward either goal, making them a coin flip to use.

Fall Mountain[]
As of Season 5.Fun, Fall Mountain may feature a series of Slingus Flinguses on the steps leading up to the crown.

Freezy Peak[]
In the game Freezy Peak, there are lots of them, all annoying the players. There are many of them in the first section, before the first fan. They can fling players in all 4 directions. The second section, which is a platform elevated that brings to other fans, is filled with Slingus Flinguses. These also fling in all directions so more often than not, players will fall when landing on one. Lastly, the uphill spiral section has Slingus Flinguses paired with Punching Gloves to push players off the side of the map.

Hoop Chute[]
Hoop Chute features multiple Broken Flippers right after where the starting Slime Slides converge into a large open Slime Floor. While it is not visible until players land on them, they are coated with slime, allowing players to dive slide on them to more easily reach hoops.

Hoopsie Daisy[]
Starting from the 2 February 2021 Season 3 (Legacy) mid-season update, some Slingus Flinguses appear alongside a blizzard fan in an alternate version of Hoopsie Daisy. [5]

The Slingus Flinguses in Hoopsie Daisy help players reach certain rings.
Hoverboard Heroes[]
Starting from the Season 4.5 (Legacy) update, three Slingus Flinguses may appear on the highest platform in the low-gravity section of Hoverboard Heroes.[6] They flip players forward, and can help players sometimes.

Grabbing onto the platform like shown in the image is a good way of avoiding those Slingus Flinguses on this Hoverboard Heroes variant.
Knight Fever[]
As of SWTYNIAEJDITWYPIBY, the slime-covered slope featured on Knight Fever may have Slingus Flinguses over them. They may be positioned in several different patterns and launch players off-course.

Leading Light[]
Three pairs of Slingus Flinguses can be found around the outer edge of the Leading Light arena, for a total of six.

Lily Leapers[]
As of Season 5.Fun, several Slingus Flinguses can be found just after the water section on Lily Leapers.

Lost Temple[]
One of the rooms in Lost Temple may have Slingus Flinguses and Blizzard Fans. This variation has been removed, but is preserved here for archival purposes.

Pegwin Pool Party[]
As of Season 5.Fun, Slingus Flinguses may be found on Pegwin Pool Party. A pair may appear right next to the spawn position while single one may be positioned to the left of the giant slime slide.

Pipe Dream[]
A set of Slingus Flinguses on the right platform of the second section of Pipe Dream may launch players backwards.

Power Trip[]
As of Season 4.5, Slingus Flinguses may replace the Gravity Zones and their buttons in Power Trip. They may show up on the upper central area as well. Touching one causes the Fall Guy to drop the Battery they are carrying. Bottom ones flip players to middle.

This variant of Power Trip features many Slingus Flinguses.

Short Circuit[]
Short Circuit has Slingus Flinguses at mutiple parts of the level. These may appear at the corner and at the last section. The ones at the corners may flip players backward or forward (to right). The ones at the last section are sometimes random (most of them will be random) sometimes not. And sometimes at the last section, they might appear with Thicc Bonkuses, the forward one will flip backward, backward will flip forward.

Ski Fall[]
Ski Fall has these obstacles on the slope, which can be useful; one is placed just after the first Hoop wheel, so the player may end up being sent backwards, possibly scoring another time. This Slingus Flingus is not always there. In the last section, there are either two of them which flip the players aside making them fall down, or three of them which fling players forward toward the final ring.

Slime Climb[]
Starting from the 2 February 2021 Season 3 (Legacy) mid-season update, some red Slingus Flinguses may appear on Slime Climb replacing the sets of Moving Blocks on sections 1, 3, and 7 which obviously don't move. As of the Fall Forever Update, Slingus Flinguses always appear in the seventh section.

Sweet Thieves[]
Slingus Flinguses are present on Sweet Thieves, positioned in a 2x2 grid around the center circle.

The Slimescraper[]
Slingus Flinguses are featured immediately after the Light Swinger section of The Slimescraper. Some players use them to bypass the Light Rods and Bumpers of the section.

Treetop Tumble[]
As of Season 5.Fun, Treetop Tumble may feature Slingus Flinguses immediately after the Blizzard Fans used to escape the Rhino arena.

Tundra Run[]
Tundra Run has two sections with these obstacles, the last and the second last. The one before the last has five of them to avoid while a Blizzard Fans tries to push the players onto them. If a player gets on one, it throws them backwards. For the last two slinguses of this section, there is a chance that players can be flung off the map instead. In the last section, they launch players to the finish line. The first part has five of them, which throw the players (if the jump is well done), to the last two, which are placed on two small platforms. Going on one of them launches the players to the Finish Line (if they are not hit by the swinging Ringus Dingus or Thicc Bonkus).

Wall Guys[]
On the 2 February 2021 Season 3 (Legacy) mid-season update launch, Wall Guys had some red Slingus Flinguses appear on the walls. This variation has been removed due to them not letting players grab the walls. It is not known if this variation will return.

Fall Guys Creative[]
In Fall Guys Creative, Slingus Flinguses cost 25 budget, and only 50 can appear in a level. They work more like Punching Gloves, activating when a certain number of seconds have passed instead of by contact.
