The Slime Factory Update, also known as the 21.0 update, is a minor update that released on 16 September 2025. It proceeds the Tropical Tides Update.

This update added five new Crown Ranks, expanding the total maximum rank to 85 with the Gold & Purr-pule Stack Costume, Golden Bean Snatcher Costume, and Crown of Renown Costume. Multiple variations previously exclusive to Season 2 roundpools were also unvaulted.

The Kudos Celebration live event returned alongside this update, and lasted until 1 October 2025. It later returned again from 1 November 2025 to 16 November 2025. The Fall-o-ween Frights and Fall-O-Ween Mastery live events launched on 1 October 2025, marking the temporary unvaulting of the Treat Thieves Game. Both lasted an entire month, until 1 November 2025. The Slime Factory Fame Pass also released alongside this update and lasted until 11 November 2025.

This update is notably the first since the June '24 Update not to add any significant features to Fall Guys Creative, resulting in it being subject to criticism from the wider Fall Guys community. With the release of the update, datamined cosmetics and other files were discovered featuring content spanning until August 2026, sparking concerns from the community that the game could enter an automated state, and that updates could cease entirely. On 17 September 2025, the Fall Guys X account issued a brief statement addressing future content for Fall Guys, establishing that the game will continue to be updated with new Ranked Cycles, the return of vaulted levels, returning limited-time games and Live Events, and new Fame Passes. At this time, it is unknown whether there will be any future updates for Fall Guys Creative, including new levels.

A minor content update dubbed the Arctic Adventures Update was released on 11 November 2025. This update effectively opened The Vault completely (apart from the INVISIBEANS levels and Bean Hill Zone), unvaulting the last three missing levels. The Crown Shard Scramble live event returned on 16 November 2025, and will last until 1 December 2025. The Frosty Frolics and Winter Mastery live events will launch on 1 December 2025, marking the return of the Snow Day Stumble Game. Both will last an entire month, until 1 January 2026. The Arctic Adventures Fame Pass also released alongside this update and will last until the end of the update.

Changes to Fall Guys Creative

The only addition to Creative in this update was a minor change to the Rotation Controller and Movement Controller, where any objects connected to these tools can now have their start delay disabled. According to the update's launch megathread, this is likely a part of 'fixing multiple issues' with these tools.

Miscellaneous Changes

• The Medieval Lobby Background replaced the Blunderbeach Background in this update.
  • The Falloween Lobby Background has replaced the Medieval Background as of 1 October 2025.
    • The Yeetropolis Lobby Background has replaced the Falloween Background as of 1 November 2025.
• The Main Games with all the levels (those being Solos, Squads, Duos and Knockout) were reworked to only have certain levels come up at certain rounds during the Game, it was also changed to always have 4 rounds.
• The First-Time User Experience version of Knockout, which was only available for new players, was disabled as of 29 September 2025.
• Seventeen of Mediatonic's own Creative Levels were tweaked at the start of the update. These levels being:

  • Also in 21.0.1, text on buttons on Fall Guys Mobile, such as the Quit button on the level intro, had their font size shrunk.

Notes

• This is the first update to not have a unique key art since the Falloween 2024 Update.
• This is the first update to not introduce any new Mediatonic-made Creative levels or initially unvault any level since the November '24 Update.
  • This is the first update to not introduce a new background since the Winter Update.
• In-Egg-Out was finally added to Knockout, after previously only being present in Blunderbeach Bonanza.
• This is the first update to house two separate Ranked Knockout Cycles.
• This is the first update since the June '24 Update to have more than one Fame Pass.
• This may be the longest update, possibly beating the Survival Update.
• From a post made on X, Sweet Thieves was confirmed to come back at an undisclosed time during next year.
