Show Selector, introduced in Season 2, gives players the option of what kind of Fall Guys rounds they would like to play based on what playlist they choose.
There is one playlist which can always be selected:
- Main Show, the standard playlist where all of the maps can be selected to be played.
Starting from October 2020, along with the Main Show, some special playlists are available only for a certain amount of days, usually a week. A new playlist usually (but not always) starts after the previous one has ended, at 13:00 BST.
Choosing a special playlist is usually equivalent to choosing the Main Show as far as rewards (InvalidAmountOrOptionError: invalid amount or option (valid: any number or "link"), InvalidAmountOrOptionError: invalid amount or option (valid: any number or "link") and InvalidAmountOrOptionError: invalid amount or option (valid: any number or "link")) go, but the rounds that may be selected are different. Starting from Season 4, this may no longer be the case.
From November 10th 2020, multiple playlists can be selected to be queued for, and different region servers have been introduced.
From December 15th 2020, the game will now display which playlist type was chosen if you queue for multiple. Also, on Steam, a new button prompt will allow players to enter a code to join a custom show host's lobby. Hosting a custom show is currently limited to a selected bunch of content creators, and still requires the minimum number of players in a playlist to start a game (40 for Main Show and most alternate playlists).
The following is a table of the special playlists that have been available and the period of time they were active. For Season 2 and 3, all special playlists rewarded

Notes
- Only in the Main Show will Team rounds be selected if the players can be evenly divided amongst the number of teams required. In special playlist modes, Team rounds can be selected even if there's an uneven number of players.[1]
- The Slime Survivors running from 25th January 2021 started a few hours late due to a bug. During this time, only the Main Show was available.[2]
- This Slime Survivors instance was originally scheduled to run until 1 February, 2021. An update on that date increased the length by one day, to coincide with the Season 3 mid-season update.
- The Slime Climb Time running from 5th April 2021 was originally 4 rounds total, but a hotfix pushed on 6th April 2021 reduced it to 3 rounds total.
