Shortcut Links is one of the creative rounds in Fall Guys. It is a gauntlet-like COURSE level and was first introduced in Season 4.

Course description[]

Shortcut Links is a round that features multiple winding paths that curve upwards. It primarily focuses on the player's ability to take narrow shortcuts that save time. Most shortcuts require traversing across Conveyor Floors, and all are guarded by at least one Swinging Axe.

The first section curves upwards and to the right. A slow Swinging Axe cuts through the path's inside half. The middle path is a shortcut which contains two small Conveyor Floors.

The second section is very similar to the first, but it is teal instead of blue. It curves to the left and has a slow Swinging Axe that cuts the entire path in half. The second half contains a Conveyor Floor that acts as a shortcut.

The third section is a downward slope populated by Conveyor Floors. Much like Track Attack, Some speed the player up while others slow the player down. Unlike Track Attack, there are holes that the player can fall into. Near the end, two Swinging Axes block the outside lanes.

The fourth section is gray and curves to the right. The path is not as steep as the first two, but is cut in half with a Swinging Axe, like the second path. On the left, there is a long and thin Conveyor Floor that acts like another shortcut. It puts the player through the path of two extremely fast Swinging Axes. Both paths lead to a path of Conveyor Floors that slowly move players backwards. It is also cut in half by a Swinging Axe.

The final section is a blue slime path that players can slide to the finish on. It curves to the right and to the left, but not upwards. Two smaller slime paths exist in the middle as shortcuts.

Course strategy[]

Players should stay on the inside of the paths to qualify as quickly as possible, as going outwards takes lots of time. When moving to and from Conveyor Floors, players should time their jumps carefully and only dive as a last resort.

In the large Conveyor Floor area, players should try to stay on yellow Conveyor Floors and avoid red ones.
