Season Pass Icon

Fall Guys had Seasons, which were major updates to the game that each had a unique theme and add new content (rounds, costumes, obstacles, and music). Seasons lasted anywhere between two to seven months, and also introduced a new Season Pass (also called Fame Path in Legacy Seasons) which could be leveled up by playing shows and completing challenges to obtain a variety of customization options and currencies. When a season was about to end, double (max for Season 2), triple (max for Season 1 (Legacy) to Season 6 (Legacy)) and later quadruple fame (Season 1 only as of September 2022) was rewarded to help players finish the season pass if they didn't already.

Seasons officially ended with Season 4. On 16 August 2023, Mediatonic announced that they're moving away from Seasons to bring more frequent Updates, continuing to add a new Fame Pass every 4-7 weeks.[1] Later that day, Season 4 got added to the Seasons Archive on the Official Fall Guys Website - which got a new generic theme. On 27 September 2023, the game got a new generic theme with the Fall Force Update.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Up until Season 4.5 (Legacy), all mid-season update names included some form of the word "yeet". Season 4.5 (Legacy) broke this trend.
    • Season 3.5 (Legacy) and Season 4.5 (Legacy) were named by users on Twitter.
    • It is likely that 5.Fun is a pun on 5.1, but this is not officially confirmed.
    • The Season 6.2 (Legacy) update has not been mentioned in any social media but it appeared on the game settings.
  • Season 4 (Legacy) is the first season to not release on a Tuesday or Thursday, ironically followed by Season 4.
  • After Season 5 (Legacy), there is usually more than one mid-season update.
  • Season 2 is the only season to last the same amount of days as an older season (68, Season 2 (Legacy)).
  • Though not the exact same, Season 1 and Season 2 share similar themes to Season 6 (Legacy) and Season 4 (Legacy)
  • Each legacy season up to Season 6 (Legacy) lasted longer than the previous seasons: Season 1 (Legacy) lasted 65 days, Season 2 (Legacy) lasted 68 days, Season 3 (Legacy) lasted 97 days, Season 4 (Legacy) lasted 120 days, Season 5 (Legacy) lasted 133 days, and Season 6 (Legacy) lasted 203 days. This trend was broken in Season 1 but then brought back in Season 3.
  • It is known throughout the community to refer to the seasons as acronyms. Such examples include S4 for Season 4 (Legacy), and S6 for Season 6 (Legacy). Following the change to the free-to-play model, with the official numbering of seasons resetting back to 1, an extra S is added to the acronym. Such examples include SS1 for Season 1, and SS2 for Season 2.
  • With the release of Season 1 and the change to the free-to-play model, the official numbering of seasons reset back to 1, instead of the expected "Season 7". However, many legacy players still refer to the newer free-to-play seasons unofficially as Season 7, Season 8, Season 9, etc., continuing the Legacy numbering after Season 6 (Legacy).
    • The game version number still utilizes the old numbering, however (such as versions 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0, instead of 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0).
    • Similar to above trivia, many players also use the acronyms this way, such as S7 for Season 1, and S8 for Season 2.
