Season 3, nicknamed Winter Knockout and commonly abbreviated as S3 or LS3, was the third Season of Fall Guys. It began on 15 December 2020, after Season 2 (Legacy) ended. It ended on 22 March 2021 and was succeeded by Season 4 (Legacy).
New changes introduced in Season 3[]
The Crown Rank was added; winning more and more crowns would unlock rewards along an exclusive unlock path.
An in-game news feed (the Bulletin) was added. An Amazon Prime account may now be linked to the game for exclusive in-game content drops on Prime Gaming.
Mid-season, Season 3 received an update, which introduced the Fall Feed (a new feature to indicate various events in rounds), and variations to most rounds, which can be seen in each round's article. The update was named "stop with the yeets name it anything else just don't include the word yeet please im begging you" (SWTYNIAEJDITWYPIBY for short)[1].
The appearance of the main menu and loading screen changed, adding various winter-themed designs like snowflakes.
New music tracks were added, and the main theme was rearranged; keeping the same track but with a winter style.
On PC only, custom lobbies have been added for specific streamers; their viewers can join their custom show by clicking CTRL twice in the show selector. The hosting functionality was eventually granted to every player in Season 4.5 (Legacy). Back in Season 3, these custom lobbies still requires a minimum of 40 players to start a game. In these private lobbies, no Kudos or Crowns can be gained, and all medals are pink.
Unlike Season 1 (Legacy) and Season 2 (Legacy), new Season 3 items are exclusive to the featured store, DLCs, and drops until the season ends (meaning they will not appear in the regular store rotation until then).[2]
The Fame totals required to reach each level were tweaked to be lower compared to Season 2 (Legacy).
New Rounds[]
7 new rounds were initially added to the game. Snowball Survival was added later during a mid-season update.

- Season 3 (Legacy) is the only season that didn't introduce a new Hunt round.
- However, Ski Fall has a scoring system, making it more similar to a Hunt round rather than a Race.
- Season 4 also did not have any Hunt rounds, however, all levels from Season 4 were made using Fall Guys Creative, which at the time only had race as a mode.
- This is false as of the Scrapyard Stumble Update as Ski Fall got changed into a Points level.
- As of Mid Season 3.5, the down arrow above your fall guy's head (player indicator) is now smaller.
- As of Season 4, every Season 3 (Legacy) round has been temporarily removed at least once:
- Tundra Run was removed during Season 2 due to "performance issues".
- Thin Ice was removed near the end of Season 6 (Legacy) due to an exploit, and as of Season 2, it was removed from core shows but was still available in Custom Show and some special shows throughout the season. In Season 3, the round had been completely vaulted from every show again, but returned in Season 4.
- Roll Off was removed during Season 5 (Legacy) due to an issue with eaten jumps.
- Snowy Scrap and Snowball Survival were both removed from core shows during Season 2 but were still available in Custom Show and some special shows throughout the season. In Season 3, both rounds were completely vaulted from every show, before returning in Season 4.
- In Season 3, both Freezy Peak and Ski Fall got vaulted from every show for the first time.
- At the start of Season 2, Pegwin Pursuit was only playable through Custom Show and some special shows, before being added back to Squads and Duos Shows. In Season 4, it got vaulted from every show (except The Vault), before being unvaulted in the Tool Up Update.
