Rubber Chicken (or rubber chicken) is a Power-Up in Fall Guys that lets players swing an enlarging rubber chicken. It was first introduced in the Scrapyard Stumble Update.[1]

In-game appearance

The Rubber Chicken Power-Up takes the appearance of a rubber chicken toy, and shares some facial features with the top of the Mother Hen Costume. When used, the player holds one of these toys to the right of their head. They can move at a normal pace, and dive to cancel the Power-Up.

By pressing the Power-Up button again, the player swings the Rubber Chicken. This is helpful for knocking opponents away, as well as launching objects and breaking destructible ones. As the toy is held, it flashes red and slowly enlarges, eventually being swung after a few seconds regardless of player input. The longer the toy is held, the more knockback and damage it deals.

The Rubber Chicken can trigger Blast Balls. However, the buildup for these Blast Balls is much longer, using the same time as being held by a player.

Appearances[]

Box Party[]

Rubber Chicken spawners can be found throughout the arena in Box Party. Some become momentarily obscured by Punching Gloves. The Power-Up must be used to score 6 points from breaking boxes.

Bubblegum Brew[]

Bubblegum Brew features a few Rubber Chicken spawners. Bubblegum balls can be pushed by the player into the cauldron using the help of other objects like a Blizzard Fan and a Punching Glove, but using the Power-Up can speed up this process.

Chicken Gulch[]

In Chicken Gulch, the eponymous Rubber Chicken must be used to destroy boulders and earn 15 points. The dark walls can also be destroyed in this manner to reveal secret boulders above slime.

Roller Derby[]

Rubber Chicken spawners can be found in Roller Derby. players can roll their ball and collect the Power-Ups to knock opponents out.

Top of the Trash[]

In Top of the Trash, multiple Rubber Chicken spawners can be found on the paths to the Scoring Zone. These can be used to knock opponents out of the zone and prevent them from scoring 30 points and qualifying.

Castle Siege/Valentine's Castle Siege[]

In both Castle Siege and its Valentine's Castle Siege, two Rubber Chicken Power-Ups spawn in front of the "warning" banners, which warn the players about the arrows flying by. These spawn very slowly, and can only be used once, but if charged long enough, you can send an instant-killing shot to one or more beans.

Known Bugs[]

Faceplant[]

If a player dives and uses the Rubber Chicken right as they hit the floor, they will stay down instead of getting back up. This way, they can break destructible objects right below them. After the Power-Up finishes being used, players automatically get back up; by holding the grab button, they can stop themselves from getting up. Trying to walk around will end the faceplant, but players can repeatedly jump to move forwards and even climb up walls.[citation needed]

This glitch can also be initiated via diving and sliding down a Ramp, or diving onto a Thruster as soon as it activates.[citation needed]
