Roll Out is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a SURVIVAL level and was first introduced in the beta version.
Course description[]
Standard version[]
Roll Out consists of surviving without falling down on a big rotating roller for a precise amount of time, without being in the list of the eliminated (the game also ends after a number of eliminated). Every section of the roller moves in a different direction and the player has to move from a section to the other to always stay on the roller. Every section has its own difficulty, like walls, holes, obstacles or slippery ground.
A certain number of players are eliminated in this stage, but if (somehow) after 2:30 this elimination quota is not met, the round times out and everyone remaining qualifies.
Variations[]
| Name | Availability | Season introduced | Description | Picture | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard version | Available | Season 1 (Legacy) | The standard version of Roll Out. |
|
The Rotating Tunnels will always differ in their patterns, this is not a traditional Variation however. |
| Small Roll Out Variation | Available | Fan Big Yeet Little | The two outer Rotating Tunnels are removed. Each tunnel rotates in the opposite direction it normally does. |
| |
| Fruit Cannon Variation | Available | Five Cannons are placed in front of the Rotating Tunnels; they shoot out all kinds of fruit, with strawberries and blueberries being the most common. |
|
Bots[]
Roll Out is one of the few rounds that can be selected should the lobby be filled with bots (which were introduced in the UI Update).
Course Strategy[]
Roll Out is a fairly straightforward level. The rolls move in and out of slime, meaning that staying on one roll indefinitely is not advised. Gaps, walls and Bumpers all appear on the rolls as obstacles. The bumpers are the least threatening, as they're relatively small so they can be avoided easily. Moving around walls shouldn't be a problem either.
Gaps are where the most amount of eliminations happen, accidentally falling into one happens more often than not, as walls do obscure the gaps that may lie behind them. Unlike walls and Bumpers, gaps come in a variety of sizes, the small ones can be jumped over, but stay clear and move to another roll if a larger one approaches.
Roll Out is a grabbers dream, as there are many gaps in which you can be pushed. Try to avoid gaps and other people entirely to ensure safety. If you yourself want to grab then stay near the centre of the level and try to grab and push players that approach you.
Blind or huge jumps are also not recommended, safe jumps or steps are better to get a higher chance to qualify. Blind jumps could work if you know there's a wall emerging from the slime, then it is safe to do a big jump.
Advanced Strategies[]
- Jumping and diving around the walls on the most outer rolls could be a smart way of staying away from people, this is hard to do, but could guarantee your safety throughout the level if performed right.
- Using the previous method and doing big jumps over the large gaps, it is possible to stay on one roll until the level is over.
Variations[]
| Name | Picture | Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| Small Roll Out Variation |
|
A smaller layout means that players are closer together. So, you may be at a greater risk of getting grabbed. Stay away from people if they get too close. |
| Fruit Cannon Variation |
|
Despite how they may look, the Cannons are actually fairly easy to avoid. If you get the standard (no small) version, then just stay on the outer blue rolls, the cannons don't reach there. A stray shot may happen, but it is rare.
Another avoidance method is too stand behind or in front of the walls or Bumpers that appear, as the walls will either block the shot or provide safety if you get hit. The cannons provide audio cues when they shoot, so seek shelter if you hear them. |
Final Variant[]
A Final type variant was introduced in the Satellite Repair Mission playlist on 8 September 2022. In this variant, all players that collect 25 bubbles within 1 minute and 30 seconds win the show.
Medal thresholds[]
- Gold - Qualified
- No medal - Eliminated

Trivia[]
- While Roll Out can accommodate for a set of 60 players, it would never appear as the first round in the main playlist when it still had 60 players. 60 player Roll Out only occurred in certain special playlists, like Slime Survivors.
- However, ever since 29 November 2023, Roll Out can now appear as the first round in the 40-player Solos show.
- Roll Out and Stompin' Ground are the only Survival rounds that can show up as the first round in Solos with a full lobby.
