Knockout the competition, climb up the Ranks, and earn exclusive rewards!
~ Blogpost subtitle

The Ranked Knockout Update,[1] also known as the 18.0 update, is a major update that released on 1 April 2025 and will end on 27 May 2025.[2] It proceeded the Fall and Fantasy Update.

This update introduced Ranked Knockout, a version of Knockout where players compete to increase their ranks and claim exclusive rewards at the end of the ranked cycle. The update introduced 5 new Midnight-themed levels to Knockout, having additional April Fool's variants in the Foolish Trios limited-time mode. The 3D Background was changed from Slime Cave to Midnight.

The Foolish Festival and Foolish Mastery live event launched alongside the update and lasted from 1 April 2025 to 22 April 2025.

The Woo-dland Wonders Fame Pass released alongside this update and will last from 1 April 2025 to 27 May 2025.[2]

Ranked Knockout[]

Ranked Knockout was released as the main highlight of this update, being a highly competitive, ranked-based game where players should perform well to get high points which will increase their rank. The greater the placement players reach, the more points they receive, with players gaining the most points if they win. Being unable to qualify or getting eliminated early will result in points being lost.

SuperstarRank

The Superstar Rank.

There are eight competitive Badge Ranks: Rookie, Contender, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ace, Star, and Superstar. Every rank up to Superstar has their own sub-rank, with Rookie through Silver having 3 sub-ranks and Gold through Star having 5 sub-ranks. Superstar lacks a sub-rank, as players have already reached the maximum rewards. However, players can continue to gain and increase the total amount of points added to their rank. All Ranks have their own required minimum points before players enter the next rank/sub-rank. By reaching a new rank, a small animation will play revealing the newly acquired rank, as well as a tiny animation for every sub-rank reached.

The Ranked Rewards are the rewarding system where players can check their rewards based on their current ranked placement: this includes in-game goods and currencies such as Kudos, Crowns, Emoticons, and Costumes. They will receive these rewards at the end of the Competitive Cycle (the first lasting eight weeks/56 days) and all players will have their rank refreshed to Rookie once the cycle ends and a new one begins.

  • Daily and Weekly Challenges have been updated and the Daily Mastery challenge list has been removed. The Fame rewards for daily challenges have been decreased as well.
    • Daily Challenges now include objectives based on specific games (Solos, Knockout, Explore, etc.) at random, replacing the previous fixed challenges (run for 5000 metres and qualify from 10 levels).
  • In the loading screen of a FINAL, the Fame reward that did not calculate victory rewards for winners is now correctly displayed.

Notes[]

  • This is the first update that was teased at the start of another update, with Ranked Knockout being teased on 4 February 2025, or at the start of the Fall and Fantasy Update.
  • This is the first major update to have been released in April.
  • This is the first update to have a dedicated blog post since the Falloween 2024 Update.
  • Curiously, this was the first update to break the pattern established from the Summer Breeze Update, which was for every new update to increase only the decimal number in the game's version (11.3, 11.4, 11.5...). This update instead changed the game version from 11.6 to 18.0.
  • This is the first update to seemingly unvault Variations, albeit it seems to be unintentional, as these versions are extremely hard to come by:
