“ | 🆕 Pegwin Pool Party - Zoom down zippy slides and grab those pesky Pegwins. The longer you cling on, the more points you’ll gain. We hope you’ve got a good grip! | „ |
~ Reveal Announcement (19 July 2021) |
Pegwin Pool Party is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a POINTS level and was first introduced in Season 5 (Legacy).
Course description[]
Standard version[]
Pegwin Pool Party takes place in an arena divided between a lower area and an extensive walkway that runs above the edge of the arena. The walkway follows a relatively straight path from one end to the other: Starting by going up a steep ramp from the lower area, followed by a flat surface that contains two small slime slides as well as the players' spawn points for when the match starts. Following that is a gentler ramp that leads to a circular surface that runs around a hole. Finally, there's yet another gentle ramp that leads to a big spiral slime slide. All the slides as well as the hole will bring players down to the lower area (although it is possible to simply jump down from the walkway at any point).

Running along the walkway above the arena.
The lower area features two pools of water at a slightly lower elevation. The larger pool contains a circular island with a large donut bumper surrounded by four smaller ones that orbit around it, where all the Pegwins spawn at the start of the match. This pool also contains a small stretch of land between the ends of the two small slides. This stretch of land contains two blizzard fans that alternate between on and off, with only one of them being active at any given time (except for a few seconds at the very start of the match, where both fans will be active at the same time before they start alternating). The smaller pool contains a large island with an Expanding Frog behind a pillar concealed by a waterfall. Next to both pools is a larger blizzard fan surrounded by four pillars. It leads up to the circular hole in the walkway above. This fan alternates between on and off as well.
In order to qualify for the next round, players must locate, pick up, and carry a Pegwin. Doing so will net them points for (roughly, but not exactly) each second they spend holding it. The first players who manage to score 25 points will qualify for the next round. Since the game does not break ties, it is possible to have more qualified players than the initially established cap. If playing in a Squad, points are shared between all squadmates and the qualification quota is raised to 35 points in Duos and 55 points in Squads.
If the qualification quota is not filled after 5 minutes, the round ends and everyone not yet qualified is eliminated. Because of the nature of this round, it is highly unlikely for this scenario to occur.
Alternate version[]
In the Season 5.1 (Legacy) update, the following variants may appear:[1]
- The Blizzard Fans near the small Slime Slides may be replaced by Punching Gloves.
- There may be Slingus Flinguses positioned throughout the arena:
- Two may be positioned near the spawn locations
- One may be positioned to the left of the giant Slime Slide
- There may be a pair of Flippity Bippities positioned on the ramp that connected the lower area to the walkway.
- The island of donut bumpers may be replaced by a series of four small Lily Pads instead.
- The island of donut bumpers may be replaced by a Spinning Plate with an Expanding Frog at its center.
- A giant Fan may be covering the hole at the top, where the large blizzard fan is blowing upwards.
- The expanding frog may be replaced with a Rotating Wall.
- The expanding frog may be replaced with two Turnstiles.
In the Season 1 update, the following variant may appear:
- The island of donut bumpers may be replaced by a Spinning Plate without any expanding frog at the center.
Course strategy[]
The best way to win is to quickly grab a hold of a pegwin and run somewhere safe from the vast majority of other players. The best way to do so is to jump off of the starting platform into one of the smaller slime slides (this however is contingent on getting a good spawn location nearer to a slide). Doing so correctly will propel the player forward a considerable amount, giving them an edge by having them much closer to the pegwins. Other (less effective) strategies involves jumping into one of the blizzard fans or off the walkway and then mashing the jump button to immediately jump upon touching the ground, instead of simply walking off. This, combined with constant jumping to mitigate the slowing effects of the water can give players an edge.
Some tips:
- Popular hiding spots include the walkway, as it allows players to quickly change areas by using the slides, fans and ramps to move up and down. The area behind the Expanding frog, the big spiral slide (by constantly going up on it) and the donut bumper island, which makes it trickier for players to reach into it.
- Turning on name tags can be very useful on this mode: you will be aware of approaching players if you already have a pegwin, or aware of players hiding (behind the frog, for instance) if you're looking for a Pegwin to steal.
- While not a guarantee, after you get a pegwin, try to steer for the high ground. Most of the fighting occurs on the lower floors, with jostling for the pegwins comparatively rarer (but still possible) on the high ground.
- If you already have a Pegwin, waiting by a "free" Pegwin is a good idea, as a player will be more likely to grab the one that's free rather than try and take yours.
- Some players prefer to wait by isolated, pegwin-carrying players so they can grab their pegwin once they qualify.
- During the start of the game, try to slide down the nearest slime slides. They will make you faster and you can grab the pegwin in time.
- Staying on a slide is helpful, as players can jump over opponents sliding by.
- It is generally not worth trying to grab a pegwin that is being fought over by multiple players at the same time. Instead, look for isolated players and either wait by them or try and take their pegwin away, depending on how pressed for time you are.
- Moving unpredictably is vital in escaping pursuers: jump up the blizzard fans (do keep in mind that they may shut down prematurely, however), go down a slide, suddenly walk off a ramp (don't do it from too high up or you will drop the pegwin) or even suddenly change direction.
- Carrying a pegwin makes players slower than usual. Avoid walking on water while carrying a pegwin as you'll be a very easy target. If you absolutely must travel through water, constantly jump to mitigate its effects.
- Be warned that the higher the ping, the harder it is to grab a Pegwin. If you are struggling to do so, try finding a server that is closer to your region.
- Piggybacking a teammate while holding a Pegwin grants double the points.
Alternate versions[]
- The punching gloves can still be used to reach the walkway above. Standing perfectly still while holding the pegwin will ensure you're still holding it when it launches you upwards (keep in mind you'll still need to adjust your trajectory midair).
- The punching gloves take a considerable amount of time to activate however, meaning you will still be an easy target for grabbers if you just stand there holding a pegwin.
- Do not step on a slingus flingus while you are holding a pegwin as not only you will drop it, but you will also be launched away from it.
- Alternatively, you may want to try and be around a slingus flingus in hopes that a careless player steps on one, allowing you to take their pegwin for yourself.
- With proper timing, the flippity bippities that block the ramp up to the walkway can be navigated and even provide a certain amount of protection from other players trying to get up to it to reach you. Just be careful not to be hit by one yourself.
- The lily pad island may provide some opportunities to move quickly and unpredictably (juking) to confuse any pursuers. Jumping on a lily pad will not cause you to drop the pegwin.
- It is possible to use the spinning plate island to quickly change direction and confuse any pursuers, but take care not to get too close to the expanding frog, as being hit by it as it inflates may cause you to drop your pegwin.
- The giant fan over the hole partially blocks the most reliable way of quickly reaching the walkway above. While it is still possible to ride the blizzard fan and navigate the fan blades, it is ill advised to do so, as hitting your head as you go up will cause you to drop the pegwin. Instead, look for alternative ways to reach the walkway, such as the ramp or the smaller blizzard fans/punching gloves.
- Alternatively, once up on the walkway, you may want to jump from blade to blade or run on top of the inner rings, like in Big Fans to evade other players.
- Take advantage of the rotating wall to evade pursuers, by jumping through the gaps or running along with the wall.
- By running around, pushing and hiding behind the turnstiles, it is possible to avoid players, particularly the more inattentive ones.
Final Variant[]
A FINAL type variant was introduced in the Silent's Memories playlist on 17 November 2022. In this variant, all players that score 25 points within 3 minutes will win. The round will take the entire 3 minute duration, even if players have already qualified.
The time limit here is relatively generous. Fighting for Pegwins is unneccesary. If you can't get a free pegwin immediately, simply wait for a while until some players have already qualified.
Another FINAL type variant was introduced in the Pegwin Palooza playlist on 10 December 2024. In this variant, the highest scoring TEAM will win the entire game.
Medal thresholds[]
- Gold - First place
- Silver - Top 20% of players in the lobby
- Bronze - Top 50% of players in the lobby
- Pink - Qualified, but outside of the top 50%
- No medal - Eliminated
