Knockout is a core playlist mode in Fall Guys.
It is a permanent game added as of the Fall Forever Update and as one of the new core games in the game.
This game works similar to Solos, but with a levelpool of 40 levels. However, as of the Ranked Knockout Update it contains only 30, it is currently unknown whether this is an intentional change. The levels being split between classic Unity and official Creative levels. Creative levels that are currently not in Knockout will still be available to play in Custom Games.
Knockout will be constantly and significantly refreshed on a regular basis (usually on every update) in the form of Knockout/Rotations, allowing players to play most of the levels in the game.

Description[]
Knockout will consist of only 4 rounds in total (can vary in rare occasions), with 3 rounds being Opener and Filler levels, and a Final level for the fourth round. Openers and Fillers can vary from being a mix of COURSE, SURVIVAL, LOGIC and/or POINTS levels. Finals can only be FINAL, which is what usually ends the game with one player remaining, except for very rare cases (such as a survival level eliminating all but one player).
List of Levels[]
This is the list of levels featured in Knockout, with the roundpool being refreshed periodically. The following list is the 10th rotation of Knockout.
FTUE/Tutorial Version[]

Two Knockout games in the Game Selector, with the one on the left having an exclamation mark, being the First-Time User Experience version.
Knockout has a separate version that only shows up in the Game Selector for new players who haven't played Fall Guys before, this version is very different from the original, and only contains 4 rounds that will always go in the same order. Once a new player finishes their First-Time User Experience Knockout game, it can never be played again and will disappear from the Game Selector. Weirdly enough, both Knockout Versions will appear in the Game Selector for new players.
Also for new Fall Guys Players, they must play and finish the FTUE version of Knockout to unlock other gamemodes.
Here's also the list of 4 rounds that will appear in this version.
Round | Type | |
---|---|---|
Welcome to Fall Guys! | COURSE | |
Digital Highway | COURSE | |
Treetop Rollers | COURSE | |
Snowball Survival | FINAL |
Notes[]

- No more community-made creative levels are featured within Knockout, they will instead be in the new Creator Spotlight game.
- The game icon from the July '24 Update became the new game icon, being the first one to be re-used in Knockout.
From the Ranked Knockout Update on:
- Skill Based Matchmaking was disabled across most Games, including Knockout. However, first time players are still be required to play FTUE Knockout before they can play any other games.
From 7 April 2025 on:
- Piggybacking in all Classic Levels in the levelpool is now disabled.
- Piggybacking in Creative Levels in the levelpool still works as normal.
Trivia[]
- The game description of Knockout was previously used by Solos.
- The game description of FTUE knockout is the same as Solos.
- In Knockout, compare to their default settings in Classic Games, some classic levels have these gamerules changed. Such as qualification or the timer.
- Previously some survival-based classic FINAL levels that are difficult or impossible to timeout in Classic Games can reach the timeout easily in Knockout.
Blast Ball and
Kraken Slam had 3:00 timer that could be timeout easily, and
Hex-A-Terrestrial has been greatly shortened to 2:00.
- As of the ninth rotation Blast Ball has been changed back to 4:30, means it cannot be timeout again in Knockout. And in tenth rotation, Kraken Slam have been changed back to 5:00, and Blast Ball even be extended to 5:00, either. Due to Hex-A-Terrestrial is not available in the tenth rotation, it's unknown whether it will be changed in the future.
