Hoopsie Legends is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a POINTS level and was first introduced in Season 2 (Legacy).

Course description[]

Standard version[]

Using the steps to one of the platforms.

Hoopsie Legends takes place in a hexagonal arena. There are six identical platforms, one next to each side of the arena that can be reached by jumping and diving with some momentum or by using the steps on either side. Players spawn in front of these platforms. Towards the center of the arena are three identical platforms in equal distance from each other. They each have one drawbridge that raise and lower periodically (allowing players to reach some of the higher hoops that will spawn) These platforms cannot be reached without the aid of the various Helper Blocks scattered around the arena. At the very center lies an inflated hexagonal structure that pushes players who bump into or fall on top it away.

Periodically, hoops will travel to random positions in the arena. Players will have to use a combination of the fixed elevation changes and the movable blocks/ramps to be able to reach and jump through the hoops.

Score is tracked individually at the top of the screen. Normal hoops are worth 1 point; golden hoops are worth 5 points. Players need 6 points to qualify. If playing in a Squad, points are shared between all squadmates and the qualification quota is multiplied by squad size.

This is another map where the climb function (grab and hold onto a ledge then pull yourself up) can be helpful for climbing to higher ledges or onto blocks.

In rare cases, if the qualification quota is not filled after 5 minutes (with a timer appearing at 15 seconds left), the round ends and everyone not yet qualified is eliminated.

Alternate versions[]

From the 10 November 2020 Season 2 (Legacy) mid season update, these variants can occur instead of the standard one.

  • Some swinging axes have been added to annoy the players. These can be positioned near the drawbridges or near the 'steps'.
  • All blocks are standard blocks.
  • All blocks are ramp blocks.

Course strategy[]

Standard version[]

Hoopsie Legends is part skill and part luck. You need to hope that hoops will appear near you so you can easily claim the points they give. Master the jump and dive to reach hoops that are hard to reach otherwise, and much like Wall Guys, try to capitalise on the niceness of other players pushing the ramps and blocks. Where possible, try to utilise the 'steps' to reach the tops of blocks; it is faster to jump onto a step, then onto a block, as opposed to climbing the block.

6 points can be reached in multiple manners - getting at least 1 golden hoop and 1 normal hoop, or 6 normal hoops. Only 1 golden hoop can be active in the map at any time. If you're lucky to have a golden hoop spawn near you, try to aim for it to save yourself some effort, but be warned as these are heavily fought over. If not, do not waste too much time hunting for golden hoops and try to get normal hoops to keep yourself in contention.

Exception: If you are in a low-population Hoopsie Legends round where a small number of people (6 for example) qualifies for the next round, golden hoops become far more valuable and dangerous. In this scenario, be far more alert to where they spawn so you can grab one if possible. A possible alternate tack is, if a golden hoop spawns to the side and requires a ramp or block to reach, and you cannot immediately get to the hoop, try making it harder for everyone else to get to the hoop by moving the nearby blocks and ramps away. This strategy is intended to make them waste time moving them back into position while you try to mop up regular hoops.

As of the Fall Forever Update, players can now jump and dive from one of the outer six platforms to grab one of the three center ones.

Alternate versions[]

  • You'd have to be slightly more careful with your movement if the axes are present; getting hit by them will make you lose precious time.
  • Blocks and no ramps mean a whole lot more climbing. It is more difficult to reach the high ground if only those are in the arena.

Final Variant[]

A Final type variant was introduced in the Silent's Memories playlists from 17 November 2022 to 22 November 2022. In this variant, the player who finishes first will win the entire show.

Many of the same strategies apply to the final variant, but note that the required score is 10 instead. Starting position might be crucial here; if you don't spawn near a golden hoop, you might be at a disadvantage. It is required to only go for golden hoops as you need only two of them. If someone is already near a hoop or is racing head-to-head against you, considering tap-grabbing them before they can jump in the golden hoop.

Known Bugs[]

Multiple hoops spawning on the same area* (Name TBD)

On a side of the map, a golden hoop can spawn over a white hoop, which requires to player to first taking the white hoop before accessing the golden hoop
This bug was fixed after the release of Season 4.5 (Legacy).
It somehow came back at some point a month after the release of Season 5.2 (Legacy).

*This name is a conjectural name and has not been somewhat uniformly agreed upon.
