Gate Crash is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a COURSE level and was first introduced in the beta version.
Course description[]
Standard version[]
Gate Crash is a race course.
Gate Crash consists of overcoming rows of moving (up and down) gates, making it basically only a right timing game. As the game gets to its finish rows, the gates gradually move faster and with a harder logic. To add more difficulty to the course, before the rows of gates, moving obstacles are added. The final section consists of a big slime downhill, followed by a right timing jump into the gate that is now down. The gates move really slow and they always alternate (the first and the last goes down while the central one goes up, and then the opposite happens). If the player has bad timing and crashes into a uppered gate, the respawn point is just before the slime downhill. Overcoming the last row will lead to the finish line.

Strategies[]
The strategies of this game are all about right timing. If a door is up, it will surely come down, so sometimes it's better to wait a second that it comes down instead of going to the nearest gate, because it may cause the player to never manage to get away from a row. Between the rows there is always a way, and the player has a bunch of seconds, as it comes closer to the gates, to think about what is better to do. It can happen that a gate, usually the side ones, don't go up for a bunch of seconds. Being a race game, in this case it's not the case to wait for them to come down, because it would make the player to lose a lot of time and be passed by a lot of other players.
Variations[]
- Avoid the pendulums by going around them in a way that they swing away from you as you pass them to avoid getting hit.
- Stay clear of the middle path as that conveyor belt slows you down. Stay on the side ones and either jump constantly to remain on course or let it carry you so you are alligned with the desired gate.
- If you have a lead, taking the Yeetuses is generally not recommended, as there is plenty of room to go around them and play the course in a more safe way. If you feel like you won't make it otherwise, walk under a yeetus in a way that it hits you just as you move past it. Jump just before being hit if necessary, but keep in mind there's a chance it'll launch you against a closed gate or into the pit if timed poorly.
Gate Crash X[]
Trust no one, even though there is only one section of the map where you can fall off. Players may attempt to grab you while you're sliding down the slime slide and ruin your jump. You have to time the final slime slide jump perfectly, or you'll clatter into a raised gate and be eliminated.
