Game Selector (formerly Show Selector) introduced to Fall Guys in Season 2 (Legacy) and further reintroduced in Season 4, gives players the option of which Game or Levels they would like to play.
Introduction[]
Game Selector is one of the core features in Fall Guys. As the name suggests, players can choose to play Main Games, explore Creative Levels or join in Custom Games as they want.
The Game Selector has 3 tabs to choose:
- Main: In this tab players can choose to start playing Core Games and Limited-time modes. This tab has three parts: Featured, Player-made and Classic Games.
- The Featured section includes Knockout, Ranked Knockout and Limited-time games.
- Player-made includes Creator Spotlight, Explore and other similar games that greatly focus on Community Creative Levels.
- Classic Games section includes Solos, Duos, Squads. These modes don't include any levels made by using Fall Guys Creative.
- Discovery: This tab fully focuses on Creative Levels, which are divided into many categories and refresh daily and/or weekly.
- Custom Games: Players can choose to become the host or join in others' custom lobby.
When players choose any game they want to play, it will be shown in the lower right corner of the lobby screen. If players do not play in a party, they will start queueing directly.
- This rule will be excluded when players choose to play Custom Games.
- If players are in a party, they'll have to wait until all party members are 'ready' to play.
Core Games[]
Core Games refer to the games that are always available. Currently there are 7 Core Games in total.
The following 2 Core Games belong to the Featured part in the Game Selector:
- Knockout mixes original Unity rounds and official Creative rounds and does not contain TEAM levels. The levelpool consists of modern Mediatonic Made Levels and all solos compatible Classic Levels.
- Ranked Knockout is similar to Knockout, but players will compete in leveling their Ranks with others. Unlike Knockout, the levelpool is rotation based with a selection of 30 levels per refresh, which consists of a mix of modern and classic levels.
The following 2 Core Games belong to the Player-made part in the Game Selector:
- Explore, introduced as a new core game as of the Fall Forever Update, greatly focuses on Creative levels. Players will explore limitless Creative levels, collect rewards during exploration and can leave the game at any time.
- Creator Spotlight, introduced as a new core game in the November '24 Update, is similar to Explore but has a limited levelpool in which only the highest-quality Community Creative Levels are present. Like Knockout, the levelpool will be periodically refreshed (Approximately every 2 weeks) to introduce new Creative levels.
These following 3 Core Games belong to the Classic Games part in the Game Selector:
- Solos, which is the standard classic playlist that includes all classic levels which are currently available in Knockout. Similarly to Knockout, TEAM levels are not currently present.
- Squads and Duos are great alternatives when playing in a group. They both exclude select classic levels that are only in Solo based playlists, however, they both contain TEAM levels, and other certain levels such as the squad-exclusive rounds
Pixel Painters and 
Tip Toe Finale are also available here. These two games have the exact same levelpool.
Limited-time Modes[]
Along with the Core Games, some special shows are available only for a certain amount of days, they are called Limited-time modes. Limited-time modes usually showcase some special gameplay themes.
Sometimes some special games might change level rules like the amount of participants or the qualification on each level. Some shows, instead of always giving 
1 for winning, may give more Crowns or 
Crown Shards instead. 
Fame rewards are the same across all shows.
A new LTM usually (but not always) starts after the previous one has ended, at 11:00 BST. The date and duration of a LTM will be scheduled by content updates in-game. Before the available date of a LTM, players will see the preview in the Game Selector.
Additional Information[]
As the concept of Vaulting was introduced, the available classic levels in Core Games, Limited-time modes and Custom Games became limited.
Additionally, all the current INVISIBEANS levels do not appear in any Core Games. Some vaulted classic levels are still playable in The Vault and select Custom game modes. However, some levels that currently removed due to various issues are not playable in anywhere.
For official Creative levels that are not available in Knockout can still be played by entering the share code in Custom Games or can be found in Explore. They can also be found in select limited time games.
