Finals Marathon is a special playlist mode in Fall Guys.

It is a limited-time Game, with the first instance running from 13 December 2021.

Additional Information

Finals Marathon is a Solos-based Limited-Time Show that greatly focuses on FINAL Levels. As of its fifth appearance onwards, the show has been changed to include more players. You are not able to play If you have additional players in your lobby as this is solo only.

Hex-A-Gone, Hex-A-Ring, Hex-A-Terrestrial, and Jump Showdown can appear at every stage. Blast Ball, Thin Ice, and Kraken Slam are excluded from rounds 3 and 4. Fall Mountain, Lost Temple, and Roll Off are only available as a final.

However, not all Final rounds are available: Tip Toe Finale, a squad-exclusive round, is excluded, while Royal Fumble is excluded likely because the one who starts without a tail will be put at an extreme disadvantage due to the lack of presence of more players.

As of the twenty-first appearance, all official Creative final rounds have been added to the Levelpool. Most of these Levels can appear at any stage, other than Pine Climb and Trick or Trapeze which can only appear as a final (like the original race finals).

Show Changes

From the fifth appearance on, the show has been completely reworked:

• The player count was changed from 6-6 to 12-16.
  • The show still aims to gradually reduce the number of players until there are only 2 in the final.
• Blast Ball, Hex-A-Ring, Hex-A-Terrestrial, and Kraken Slam have been added to the roundpool.
• Fall Mountain, Lost Temple, and Thin Ice have been removed from the roundpool.
• The fallback round has been changed from Fall Mountain to Kraken Slam.

From the twelfth appearance on:

• Fall Mountain, Lost Temple, and Thin Ice have been re-added to the roundpool.

From the fifteenth appearance on:

• Rounds can show up again in the same episode.

From the sixteenth appearance on:

• Levels cannot show up again in the same game.
• Roll Off can no longer appear as rounds 1-4.

From the twentieth appearance on:

• Minimum participants has been increased from 12 to 14.

From the twenty-first appearance on:

• Blunder Blocks, Castle Siege, Circle o' Slime, Dodge Dive Survive, Gooprope Rodeo, Pine Climb, Roller Derby, Rotate & Eliminate, Slimeball Showdown, The Hop-a-Drome and Trick or Trapeze have been added to the Levelpool.

Trivia

• On 5 October 2022, a content update changed the description of the show. Previous description: "6 beans enter - 1 bean leaves in these back-2-back final rounds!"
• From the fifth appearance on, some rounds were incorrectly tagged relative to when they appear in the show. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
  • Kraken Slam being tagged as a Final instead of a Survival when selected as any round from 1 to 4.
  • Jump Showdown being tagged as a Survival instead of a Final when selected as round 5.
    • This has now been fixed in a content update on 30 November 2022.
• From the fifth appearance on, all rounds will play the Final theme of their respective season instead of the Survival theme, even if they are marked as SURVIVAL rounds in the loading screen. An example of this is Jump Showdown now playing Final Fall instead of Fall For The Team.
• With the vaulting of Fall Mountain from the fifth appearance on, the show image is now a misnomer as that round no longer appears in the playlist.
  • Additionally, the promotional image (seen below) is also a misnomer, as Lost Temple no longer appears in the playlist as well.
  • Both of these are no longer the case starting from its twelfth appearance.
• The seventh instance of Finals Marathon was originally not scheduled; Volleyfall Tournament was. A content update replaced the latter due to some issues with the show.
• The exact mechanics are unknown, but a timeout on any of the previous rounds (with fewer eliminations than the quota, or no eliminations) can result in a six-round game.
• Throughout the entire date of Season 3, Finals Marathon was the only two limited-time games to have Roll Off final. Another game meet the condition above was Gift Grab.
• Despite being unvaulted in Season 4, Fall Mountain, Lost Temple and Thin Ice have not been reintroduced to the show's round pool after the twelfth appearance. This has been fixed as of 12 May 2023.
• In its fifteenth appearance:
  • The show was showing up twice in the Show Selector, which has been fixed an hour later.
  • Same rounds can show up again in a single episode. This appeared to be a bug as this can no longer happen as of the show’s sixteenth appearance.
