Events allow players to gain exclusive costumes and other types of cosmetics.

Live Events

Live Events are a type of in-game event, introduced in Season 5 (Legacy). These function similarly to Challenges, are run over a longer duration, and feature multiple goals and rewards.

The first two events had announcements, and featured crossover costumes from the Ratchet & Clank franchise.

Reddit

On 31 May 2021, a Reddit thread was posted announcing the first-ever Reddit Fall Guys events. On this day two events were announced:

• Random Raffle Giveaway
• Gaming Art Contest

For both giveaways, winners were given option to receive either the: Cajun Fries, Lemon Blast, Fancy Burger, or Dark Knight costume. A total of 50 winners (20 art submissions; 30 raffle) were picked. The type of giveaways were chosen by the community on a previous thread.

Twitch

To complement the start of the new Season 1, a Fall Guys extension was added to Twitch. Streamers who enabled the extension allowed their viewers to collect Fall guys that spontaneously appeared on screen (one for roughly 5 minutes). Once players collected all 20 different characters, the Stars Banner would be awarded to the viewer's linked epic games account. However, duplicates of all ready collected Fall Guys characters could appear. If enough characters were collected on a person stream, the streamer would be able to "Fall Rush" another streamer with the downloaded extension. During a fall rush, characters with names of the combating stream's viewers would fall down in front of the screen. To counter a fall rush, viewers had to spam the FallHalp emote.

Trivia

• During legacy seasons, Live Events often included Colour schemes, Faceplates, and even a Celebration once. As of Season 1, none of the Live Events have included any of those cosmetic types, and there are no Colour schemes, Faceplates or Celebrations with the EVENT rarity.
