Expanding Balloons are an obstacles in Fall Guys. They were first introduced in Season 5 (Legacy).

Obstacle description[]

Expanding Balloons are obstacles that toggle between inflated and deflated stances. When inflating, they double in size and knock nearby players away from their center. Expanding Balloons are typically immobile, but can rotate or even move on a set path, provided they are on a rail, much like Bumpers.

In Jungle-themed levels, the balloons appear as green frogs. In Festival-themed levels, the balloons appear as orange heads with party hats, coincidentally resembling Blast Balls. In Original-themed levels, the balloons appear as pink & white balls.

Bubble Trouble[]

One of the five areas of Bubble Trouble features an Expanding Frog in its center, surrounded by four Drawbridges. Players can stand on top of it and wait for the frog to expand and bounce them towards a golden Bubble.

As of Season 5.fun, a giant Expanding Frog (christened King Frog) may be situated at the centre of the top platform of the Lily Pad section.

It is a popular hiding spot for players who are carrying a Pegwin and wish to remain out of sight. As of Season 5.fun, the island with the donut pushers may be replaced by an Expanding Frog resting atop a spinning plate.

Treetop Tumble[]

Expanding Frogs are featured in many different sections of Treetop Tumble. One is located on top of each Spinning Plate in the first section of the upper path. Several are located in the second section of the lower path (underneath the Lily Pads), four are located along the upper path Beams just after both paths converge. Finally, a single frog sits atop a totem just before the finish line. This last frog can interrupt the players bouncing on the lily pad drums.
