The Crown Rank leveling system rewards the player for accumulating 
Crowns. It was added to the game in legacy Season 3.
Crown Rank Visibility[]
Starting from the Fall and Fantasy Update, players' Crown Rank levels are now visible in-game. Players can also adjust Rank Visibility in the settings menu to hide their levels.
- When Rank Visibility is set to Hide Mine, your Crown Rank level will be hidden in-game, and other players that are spectating you will see your Crown Rank level as Level 1.
- When Rank Visibility is set to Hide All, the effect is the same as the above, and you cannot see others' Crown Rank level except when spectating others.
- When you are in a party, your teammates' real Crown Rank level will be shown in the lobby and party menu. It is not affected by their personal settings.
Crown Rank Sources[]
Crowns from the following sources count towards the Crown Rank:
- All wins, including wins accumulated prior to Season 3 (Legacy).
- Bonus Crowns earned for each win during any Double Crown events.
- Four such events have been run: a Double Crown weekend, Double Crowns for the game's first anniversary, Double Crowns for the Game Awards 2021 and Double Crowns for the game's fifth anniversary.

- You may need to restart your game so that crowns from Prime Gaming visually count towards the Crown Rank.

- Crowns awarded from leveling up the Fame Path during Seasons prior to Season 3 (Legacy):

- Season 1 (Legacy) awarded
- Crowns awarded from Prime Gaming Bundles since Season 6 (Legacy) (likely because of a bug[2]).
- 3 from the January 2022 Protector Costume Bundle
- 3 from the March 2022 La Luz Costume Bundle
- 3 from the May 2022 Don Costume Bundle

- Previously if players maxed out their Crown Rank, the game did not continue to count crowns but displayed MAX instead. As of Season 1, the game will continue to count crowns you obtain even if you have maxed out the Crown Rank.
- At the start of Season 1, some levels and rewards in the lower section of the Crown Rank were rebalanced and reordered.
- This can result in cases where players that already own rewards like the Crocodile Costume before the new season, must unlock it as their next reward in the Crown Rank. Should they already own rewards 'prematurely' as a result of this change, they will still keep it and unlock nothing new upon reaching the next rank.
- As of 7 August 2024 in the July '24 Update, 13 new Crown Ranks were added near the lower half of the rank, increasing to a total of 67 Crown Ranks. These additions consisted primarily of previously instant unlock colour schemes, and single piece costumes.
- If you acquire crowns by solely maxing out every Season Pass and Fame Pass, you can obtain a total of 729 crowns, which can level up your Crown Rank to Level 51.
- As of the Fall and Fantasy Update, the Crown Rank number from the "Toggle Crown Rank" setting may display an incorrect number. This is due to a bug not counting any crowns obtained during Legacy Seasons, thus only crowns obtained from Season 1 onwards are reflected towards this number.
- As of 4 March 2025, 13 new Crown Ranks were added halfway and after the Marblellous Costume, increasing to a total of 80 Crown Ranks. The new final cosmetic was the Arcane Drake Costume.
- As of 16 September 2025, 5 new Crown Ranks were added after the Arcane Drake Costume, increasing to a total of 85 Crown Ranks. The new final cosmetic was the Crown of Renown Costume.
