Boom Blasters are obstacles in Fall Guys. They were first introduced in Season 4 and are exclusive to Fall Guys Creative.

Obstacle description[]

Boom Blasters are multi-faceted hemispheres that resemble low-poly models featured in retro game consoles. They blast away objects that are on their fronts with a rythmic pattern, hence their name. The time at which they activate is indicated by a ring that starts on the outside and shrinks while moving inward. The Boom Blaster grows and vibrates, and once the ring reaches its center, it explodes with a "blast" effect.

Boom Blasters are primarily found facing upwards, like a Drum usually is. Occasionally, they may be oriented parallel to walls, primed to blast players off of platforms.

According to Joe Walsh on the Fall Guys Discord server, the Boom Blaster is a hybrid between a Punching Glove and a Drum.[1]

Cube Corruption[]

There are many Boom Blasters all around Cube Corruption.

Gigabyte Gauntlet[]

Boom Blasters are found in many places in Gigabyte Gauntlet.

Data Streams[]

There are multiple Boom Blasters around the start of Data Streams. They are also seen after the Doors, and at the end of the level.

Firewall Finale[]

In Firewall Finale, multiple Boom Blasters appear with their fronts facing oncoming players. They blast players off of platforms. Some are found oriented upwards and serve as shortcuts.

Wham Bam Boom[]

Wham Bam Boom relies most of the time on Boom Blasters, and they are likely the namesake of this level. Three of them are at the start of the level, and sets of two Boom Blasters are featured as rows in most of the level.

Fall Guys Creative[]

In Fall Guys Creative, Boom Blasters cost 10 budget, and only 50 can appear in a level. They can be linked to a Rotation Controller.

Trivia[]

  • At one point in time, if the Power of a Boom Blaster was set to Very Strong, it would emit a slightly different sound with a lower pitch.
    • This bug seems to not occur anymore.
