Blast Balls are interactive objects in Fall Guys. They were first introduced in Season 1. They are explosives with faces (as well as a bandage on their underside), used to blast opposing players out of an arena.
Object description[]
Blast Balls, in their default state, are yellow with a happy expression. They typically appear out of designated Carry Object Spawners, but can also be shot out of cannons.
When picked up, a Blast Ball will flash red with an angry expression, and begin squeaking. After a few seconds, it will explode, launch into the air, blast away nearby players and objects (hence its name), trigger nearby Blast Balls to explode as well (albeit with much less buildup), and regain its default expression.
Blast Balls can be thrown by releasing them, and jumping and/or diving before throwing alters their trajectory. They may also briefly turn purple after exploding a few times, and will flash purple instead of red only during the next time it is picked up. Blast Balls that do fall will respawn at their spawners.
Blast Balls can also be triggered by Party Crashers, and vice versa. When hit by a Rubber Chicken, they will activate, but will instead use the longer buildup that occurs when being picked up.
The Survival Update introduced Blast Balls to Fall Guys Creative, and they cost 35 budget. Three can be placed on a single spawner at a time for a total budget of 111.
Blast Ball[]
Blast Ball, as the name suggests, features several Blast Balls, as well as six spawn points where they will respawn if dropped in the slime below. As time goes by and parts of the arena collapse, some of those spawners will fall as well.

Blastlantis[]
Blastlantis is very similar to Blast Ball, wherein it is a round that centers around eliminating players through the use of Blast Balls. Six spawners can be found.

Dizzy Heights[]
The Season 2 variant of Dizzy Heights featured several Blast Balls, with some appearing on its spawn points, while some are shot through the cannons. It has similarities with the variant found in Blast Ball Bangers.

Hex-A-Terrestrial[]
A Season 2 variant of Hex-A-Terrestrial featured Blast Balls, where it simply spawns in a fixed location, not being accompanied by a spawn point. The default state of a Blast Ball doesn't trigger the hexagonal tiles, but its explosion can trigger a huge portion of the tiles.

Tail Tag[]
The Season 2 variant of Tail Tag featured Blast Balls. They can be found on the two spawn points at the lower part of the stage, while two more can be found resting on top of hexagonal tiles at the upper part of the stage.

Tip Toe[]
The Season 2 variant of Tip Toe featured six Blast Balls together with two spawn points. They can be used to quickly reveal the nature of the tiles on this round. It has similarities with the variant found in Blast Ball Bangers.

Blast Ball Bangers[]
Blast Balls are heavily featured in the Blast Ball Bangers (previously named Spartan Showdown) show, where they appear in every round. Spawners are added to Dizzy Heights,
Gate Crash, and
Tip Toe, while the Cannons in
Big Shots and
Thin Ice shoot Blast Balls onto the arena.

Trivia[]
- Grabbing a Blast Ball (or a player holding it) while it detonates can lower the distance a player is launched.
- Unlike their in-game counterparts, calm Blast Balls usually retain their solid eyebrows in promotional artwork and animations.
- Blast Balls greatly resemble the Expanding Balloons found in
Party Promenade and
Pipe Dream.
- In the Free For All cinematic trailer, the energy of a Blast Ball's explosion is used to create a beam of rainbow light.
- This is the only obstacle introduced in Season 1 that also appears in levels from other Seasons.
- Notably, however, Season 3 introduced Speed Boosts, which function the same way as Speed Rings but look different.
- During Season 3, a picked up Blast Ball would often appear black-coloured instead of red, or occasionally have other colors or patterns.
- During Season 3, a bug made it so Blast Balls would sometimes launch players before exploding.
- A Blast Ball appears in the Close Call Celebration.
- The Fall Force Update made Blast Balls explode much earlier, making it very likely to be hit by a player's own Blast Ball.
- This has been reverted as of Tool Up Update.
