Blast Ball is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a FINAL level and was first introduced in Season 1.[1][2]
Course description[ | ]
Blast Ball takes place on a circular arena which is divided into several segments: an outer area comprised of 48 segments (3 rings with 16 each), mid area consisting of a "single-piece" orange ring and an inner area made of 8 segments arranged in a smaller ring with a hole in the middle (making it a total of 57 segments). There are six spawners (four of them evenly spaced at the outermost part of the arena and two more on opposite sides of the orange ring) for the eponymous Blast Balls, which can be picked up by players and explode after some time. The goal of the game is to avoid falling into the Slime. Over time, segments of the arena will begin to fall, making it more difficult to survive. The last player standing will win the crown.
Though there is a time limit of 4:30, this is impossible to reach (and hence time out) as the entire arena will have fallen before then. At the very end, only a single section of the arena is left; that then falls, too. (This tends to be the large orange ring segment, but in rarer cases will finish on a smaller blue segment instead.)
Course strategy[ | ]
Winning Blast Ball typically requires some degree of dexterity and quick thinking. Stay vigilant and pay attention to where the blast balls are coming from; generally, you'll want to keep your camera aimed towards the center of the arena to get the best view of the action. Paying close attention to the floor as it is falling away is also crucial too, so you do not get caught out by the floor dropping away.
Unlike most grabbable objects, the blast balls can be thrown by simply letting go of the grab button. Diving with the blast balls will usually throw them too far, so avoid doing that in most situations. For best results, be sure to jump before letting go of the blast ball. There is also a "grace period" just after a blast ball blows up during which it cannot be grabbed. Take this into account as well.
Cooking a blast ball before you throw it can potentially be more effective at eliminating opponents. When you grab onto a blast ball, hold onto it for a few more seconds before throwing; if timed correctly, the blast ball will explode as soon as it's near your target. Note that how long you should cook the blast ball depends on the distance away from your target, so this may take some practice. Be sure to avoid cooking for too long, as the blast ball will explode while you are holding it. Currently, the explosions for the balls are rather inconsistent, as some balls will explode prematurely rather than the full 3-second duration, so you may find yourself having to throw the ball earlier than intended. Never ever think for a second that you are completely safe as sometimes a stray explosion which seems like it is far away enough to not affect you can somehow blast you off the arena.
In case you've been hit with a blast ball, do not forget you can still influence your fall guy's trajectory somewhat, so use this to try and direct yourself back to the safety of the arena and it might just save you from the slime below.
As sharing the win in this final is impossible, play as aggressively as you can. In the endgame, when much of the floor has fallen away, there are a lot of gaps where it is possible to just grab and push someone off into the slime.
If it comes down to you and just one other opponent and very little floor left, grabbing and trying to push them off the edge could work, but be careful as to not let them do the same to you!
Finally, if it gets to the point where the very last platform is about to fall with both you on it, then you might have to jump at the last second as to hit the slime slightly after your opponent.
Survival variant[ | ]
A SURVIVAL type variant was introduced in the Blast Ball Trials playlist on 14 July 2022. In this playlist, the round ends when only a certain number of players are eliminated, leaving 66% players after round 1, and 69% of the remaining players after round 2.
Blast Ball Trials[ | ]
Utilize almost all the same strategies for this version. With the larger number of starting players, you may want to consider playing safe during these rounds and watch out for danger and the falling tiles while letting everyone else blast each other off.

Trivia[ | ]
- This is the first original final since the Season 1 (Legacy) finals
Fall Mountain and
Hex-A-Gone. All other finals since then were either combinations of, or final variants of pre-existing levels (e.g.
Jump Showdown being a final variation of
Jump Club).
- A SURVIVAL level based on Blast Ball, named
Blastlantis, would later be released in Season 3. The arenas of both rounds are very different, however.
- A SURVIVAL level based on Blast Ball, named
- This round and
Hex-A-Ring are the first FINAL levels to not include a crown in their icon.
- Blast Ball was the only round where the option to re-center the camera has been disabled. It has been enabled as of 14 December 2022
- As of The Fall Force Update, every tile that falls (except for the Middle Segment) is completely randomized, including tiles with Blast Ball Spawners. This can sometimes leave players with only two available Spawners in the middle of the arena in the early-game.
- This issue has been fixed in the Tool Up Update.
