Bean Ball is a Power-Up in Fall Guys that lets players roll around. It was first introduced in the Power Party Update.
Power-Up description[]
The Bean Ball Power-Up takes the appearance of a balloon shaped like a pink Fall Guy. Its faceplate resembles the Loved Up Faceplate.
When a player presses the Power-Up button after obtaining the Power-Up, they curl into a ball. They can roll around and jump, and other players can pick them up. This does not trap the curled-up player, as they can escape by jumping or returning to their normal form by pressing the Power-Up button or diving.
On flat ground, rolling at normal speed is often slower than walking, but once players roll down a slope, they pick up speed. Jumping, which may have slowed a player down even more, becomes not as penalizing. Players do not get knocked over, but can instead use normally disruptive obstacles to gain even more speed.
Appearances[]
The Bean Ball Power-Up is the main focus of Bouncy Bean Time. This game introduced the Power-Up, and it can be collected at the start of every round.
In Knockout, the Power-Up has currently only appeared in Rollin' Ruins, during the first three rotations.
Helpful tips[]
- Players can move on horizontal, dry ground faster if, use the Power-Up immediately after diving. Once they return to the typical running speed, players should cancel the Power-Up and repeat the process.
- At a certain point, rolling up a slope (even at high speeds) becomes slower than simply running up it.
