Badge Ranks are a new leveling system that rewards players 
Kudos, 
Crowns and cosmetics based on how well they do in Ranked Knockout. It was added to the game in the Ranked Knockout Update.
Additional Information[]
Even though you can get demoted through sub-ranks, you cannot get full rank demotion. (The points for the rank will just stay at 0) The points gained or lost count from the last round you played. For example, if you qualify round 2 but fail at round 3, you will get the points from reaching round 3.
